Rafael Monroy
@drakkaroyI'm a web developer by profession — and by passion. Web development is not only my day-to-day work, but also one of my hobbies. I genuinely enjoy building things for the web, experimenting with new ideas, and continuously refining my craft.
I'm particularly interested in artificial intelligence and strive to leverage it as a productivity tool to enhance my workflow. AI is a powerful assistant — but craftsmanship still matters.
I'm especially passionate about frontend development and solving problems related to structure, scalability, and reusability. I enjoy building reusable components, maintaining clean and readable code, and applying strong architectural principles.
Design Systems are one of my favorite areas — I love thinking in components, tokens, patterns, and scalable UI foundations. I work comfortably with JavaScript and Python, and have experience with CMS platforms such as Drupal, WordPress, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), as well as frameworks like Django and Laravel.
I value order, clarity, and continuous improvement. I enjoy working in teams, learning from others, and sharing knowledge whenever possible. Collaboration, thoughtful discussions, and refining ideas together are things I truly appreciate.
I'm always looking for ways to combine technology with the things I love. For me, code is not just logic — it's also creativity and world-building.
Outside of development, I have several interests strongly connected to fantasy. I enjoy reading, board games, and music — especially metal — and many of my hobbies revolve around imaginative worlds, storytelling, and strategic thinking.
Currently, I'm building Hobbie Collector — a platform where users can create personal databases to organize collections such as music, books, board games, and figures. It combines my love for structured systems, categorization, and geek culture into one evolving digital world.
